CAMPING
The town of Montmeló offers a campsite on the southern edge of the circuit at the Can Guitet site, which is the perfect base for your race weekend.
- The facilities are of reasonable quality, with toilets that are better than those at a music festival and showers that, while good, are best used at quieter times to ensure hot water.
- The site is quite large but tends to fill up by Friday evening, so make sure you book in advance to secure your pitch. Tickets for the campsite are often available until Thursday and cost €40 per group or vehicle. The site is fairly level but hard, so make sure you bring a comfortable camping mat or air mattress.
- You'll be in good company as the campers are a lively and friendly bunch and there are regular fireworks displays. The campsite is a 10-minute walk from the circuit and 1.5km from the circuit entrance.
- If you're bringing a car, make sure you bring plenty of supplies so you don't have to drive back into town, as traffic can be heavy.
- A bicycle can also be helpful, but be aware that there are some hills on the way into town.
- Accommodation can be booked directly through the town's website montmelo.cat. Reservations will be announced in the spring, but the exact date is not yet known. Accommodation can also be booked locally, but there is a high risk that the campsite will be full.
