RULES FOR VISITORS
Save yourself an inconvenience at the entrance. Here's a list of things you should leave at home when visiting the Catalan Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
What can you bring and what is forbidden?
WHAT CAN'T BE TAKEN?
- Sharp or dangerous objects (such as knives, explosives and weapons)
- Drugs, harmful substances, flammable substances or poisons
- Fireworks, smoke bombs, firecrackers, laser pointers, horns
- Sprays in tin containers (varnishes, deodorants, mosquito repellents)
- Bags and backpacks with a capacity of more than 15 litres
- Suitcases or trolleys
- Cans, glass or metal bottles
- PET bottles larger than 500 millilitres
- Hard water bottles
- Alcoholic beverages
- Power banks
- Candy bars
- Umbrellas or parasols
- Musical instruments
- Drones or other remote controlled flying machines
- Tents, sleeping bags
- Bicycles
- Scooters
- Chairs and tables
- Animals other than registered assistance dogs
WHAT CAN YOU BRING ALONG?
- Food and soft drinks. These can be in a plastic bottle of up to 1.5 litres or in a tetra-pack container.
- Umbrellas and camping chairs - but only for general admission. It's a good idea not to obstruct anyone's view with your equipment.
- Prams
- You can take photos and videos on the circuit, but you are not allowed to use professional equipment. Actually , you don't need to be afraid of taking a high quality camera with a telephoto lens and a tripod. However, you might have a problem with a large professional camera.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED ON THE CIRCUIT DURING A GRAND PRIX?
- You are not allowed to take the following items onto the Circuit de Catalunya.
- Glass, metal or wooden containers.
- Alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately, alcohol is completely banned on the circuit. You can only buy soft drinks - water and lemonade - or non-alcoholic beer at the stands.
- Dangerous sharp objects such as knives or scissors won't get you pass the security check.
- Animals are not allowed on the Circuit de Catalunya.
- Bicycles, scooters and any other means of transport must be left outside the circuit.
- Cannons, flares, smoke bombs and other pyrotechnic devices are also officially prohibited.
- Professional audio-visual equipment. If the security personnel believe that you are filming professionally, they have the right to ask you to hand over the footage.
